Regina Fragkouli, is a PhD candidate in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Patras. She has a strong background in agriculture science, especially in phytosanitary and quality control of plants and plant products, inspections of farmer-users of plant protection products and official control on pesticides sales. Education background: She holds a Diploma (integrated MSc) in Crop Science (2000) from the Department of Crop Science of the Agricultural University of Athens and a MSc in Biotechnology of Plants (2003) from the Department of Biotechnology of the same university. Work experience: She is an Agronomist in the Direction of Rural Economy of Aitoloakarnania at the Region of Western Greece. Also, she serves as an instructor in Hellenic Agricultural Organization – Dimitra. She had served as a Laboratory assistant in the Faculty of Agricultural Technology of the Technological Educational Institute of Mesolonghi (2005-2012) and as an agronomist in the Technical Department of Alfa Agricultural Supplies SA (2002-2005).
