George N. Katselis is a Biologist and holds PhD in Fish Biology. He is a professor at the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the University of Patras, specializing in “Study of Fish Populations and Fishing in the Coastal Zone”. His research interests are in the biology and ecology of aquatic animals their exploitation, protection, management of coastal areas. He has published more than 50 articles in international journals and more than 120 in conferences, having more than 700 citations in Google Scholar (h = 16).  Has been invited as referee in more than 110 articles in 21 international journals and 70 conferences. He has participated in more than of 50 programs as a coordinator or researcher.
