George Karameros is a Member of the Greek parliament with SYRIZA Pogressive Coalition party at Eastern Attica region and head of Digital policy of the official opposition party. journalist, politician and communication specialist Karameros studied Journalism and business administration in Athens and Sunderland while very soon he came in contact with the political Ecology movements. He holds an MBA from the University of Sunderland and has been a member of association of editors of Athens since 2002. He has been working for tv stations for 25 years and has given daily input as a political commentator. He served as Deputy Regional Head of the Northern Sector of Athens in the period 2014 – 2019. He also served as a municipal councilor from 2019 to 2022 He also collaborated with the Cultural Organization of the Municipality of the Tribe “Parnitha” but also the Directorate of Environment for ecological issues. He also teaches principles of investigative journalism at journalism schools.
