Luc Tholoniat is the Director for the Economies of the Member States and a lead negotiator for the Recovery and Resilience Facility at the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN) of the European Commission. Since his start at the Commission in 2000, he has held positions focusing on economic, employment and sustainability issues. He served as Assistant to the Secretary-General from 2010 to 2014 and then as Economic Adviser for the President from 2014 to 2019, before joining DG ECFIN.
