Dimitris Tsalemis is Director General for Energy of the Greek Ministry for Environment and Energy. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Patras University in the area of analysis of electromagnetic fields of high voltage transmission lines as environmental factors, while graduated from the same University in 1992. Author of articles published in scientific journals and conferences as well as of technical studies in his scientific area and has made a large number of presentations in conferences, forums and seminars in the field of electricity with a focus on renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy saving. Over a decade experience in the Energy Policy Sector. Member of the Hellenic National Energy and Climate Committee and the Committee for Hydrogen as well as chairman\/ member of several National and European Committees on Renewables & Energy Efficiency, Legislative and long-term energy plans Committees. Chairman of the Committee for Storage. From 2012 to 2014, head of the Support Sector for Renewable Energy System Investments of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, promoting policies for development of RES projects and handling related state aid issues. Over a decade experience in the design, monitoring and implementation of projects in the energy sector, co-financed by European Structural and Investment Funds, being for 4 years head of Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Co-financing Programs of the Executive<\/span> Authority for the Partnership Agreement, Energy Sector. Worked as freelance engineer and consultant engineer, specialized in designing and constructing significant medium and high voltage electromechanical projects.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
