Convinced that volunteering is a driving force of society at large and that youth is its most dynamic part, the\u00a0Regional Growth Conference<\/span>\u00a0enables dozens of young people to take part in the RGC experience by participating in the largest event on Regional Development.<\/p>

At\u00a0RGC 2021<\/span>, which took place\u00a0from 3 to 5 June<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0\u03a0\u03ac\u03c4\u03c1\u03b1<\/span>\u00a0at\u00a0Achaia Clauss<\/span>, we’ve gone\u00a0 a step further. In cooperation with the\u00a0\u03a0\u03b1\u03bd\u03b5\u03c0\u03b9\u03c3\u03c4\u03ae\u03bc\u03b9\u03bf \u03a0\u03b1\u03c4\u03c1\u03ce\u03bd\u00a0<\/span>and the University<\/strong> Peloponnese<\/span>, we organised free educational activities aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students who would also be the conference\u2019s volunteers.<\/p>

In specific, the\u00a0RGC<\/span>\u00a0together with the following departments:\u00a0Biology<\/a>, Department of Business Administration of Food And Agricultural Enterprises<\/a>, Environmental Engineering<\/a> \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 Tourism Management<\/a> of the University of Patras<\/span>, organised a three-day\u00a0Summer Workshop<\/span>.\u00a0The Workshop topics include linking the agri-food sector, tourism and the environment to regional development.\u00a0 The Summer Workshop has been designed to offer an interdisciplinary approach to the above topics through lectures, presentations and group work.<\/p>

Furthermore, in collaboration with the Department of\u00a0Electrical and Computer Engineering<\/span>\u00a0<\/a>of the\u00a0University of the Peloponnese<\/span>, the\u00a0RGC<\/span>\u00a0organised for the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0year a\u00a0Summer School<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0\u201cIntelligent System Technologies and Services\u201d<\/span>. The first days of the 6-day long Summer School held online, while from\u00a03 to 5 June\u00a0<\/span>it hosted at Achaia Clauss, in parallel with the Conference.<\/p>

Apart from participating in educational activities, at the\u00a0RGC 2021<\/span>\u00a0students had the opportunity to meet important personalities from Greece and abroad, and attend speeches, sessions and interviews. With their presence at the venue and their hands-on participation in the Conference works, students was the key part of its organisation.<\/p>

RGC 2021<\/span>\u00a0innovates, embracing new trends in science, in collaboration with the country\u2019s universities. Over the three days of the Conference, the participating students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of various scientific fields and draw on the know-how of the participating professors from the Universities of Patras and the Peloponnese.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
