Peter J. Adams is Department Head of the Engineering and Public Policy Department and a Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Carnegie Mellon University. He also holds a courtesy faculty position in Chemical Engineering. Prof. Adams\u2019s research expertise lies in the development of air quality models, atmospheric particulate matter, climate change, and the application of chemical transport modeling to policy questions. Prof. Adams is the Director of the Center for Atmospheric Particle Studies at Carnegie Mellon University. He has served on the EPA\u2019s Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee Particulate Matter Review Panel and other advisory committees at the state and local levels. He has received awards from the Air and Waste Management Association as well as the American Association for Aerosol Research. Dr. Adams received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Cornell University. He was awarded a Hertz Foundation Applied Science Fellowship for graduate study and received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
