Associate Professor at the Cyprus University of Technology
Alexandros Charalambides is an Associate Professor at the Cyprus University of Technology, working primarily on (a) predicting energy production from solar systems and (b) how innovation and entrepreneurship can assist in our efforts for decarbonization. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, and he is the founder of Chrysalis LEAP, the first cleantech accelerator in Cyprus (www.chrysalisleap.com), and has trained more than 200 entrepreneurs on how to go from research idea to viable business.
