Alexandros Karakitsios is a postdoctoral researcher at the Athens University of Economics and Business. His postdoctoral research is related to mobility in the Greek labor market and the effect of the minimum wage. He studied at the Department of International & European Economic Studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business, where he prepared his doctoral thesis on “The effect of the minimum wage on wages, employment and poverty”. He has worked as a Scientific Associate of the Council of Economic Experts of the Ministry of Finance (2017-2020), as a Technical Advisor of the World Bank (2016-2017) and as a researcher at the Athens University of Economics and Business (2013-2016) and at ELIAMEP (2014).
