Evangelia Georgitsi is an official of the European Commission currently serving as Communication Officer at the EC Representation in Greece. Evangelia joined the European Commission in 2013 and has served, inter alia, as team leader for the Common Fisheries Policy in DG MARE and as member of the Task-Force for migration management in DG HOME. Evangelia holds a double degree in Law (University of Athens) and in Mathematical Logic (University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and an LLM in comparative public law (University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne). Before joining the Commission, she was leading the comparative law team of the Legal Service of the French Council of State. She has also worked as research and teaching assistant in various Universities in France and Austria and is member of the Athens Bar Association.
