Antonia Mataragka is Scientific Associate of School of Animal Biosciences at the Department of Animal Science of the Agricultural University of Athens, and Scientific Associate of School of Applied Biology and Biotechnology at the Department of Biotechnology of the Agricultural University of Athens. Also, she is Visting Professor of School of Agricultural Sciences at the Department of Food Science and Technology of the University of Patras.

She is Registered Analyst at the Laboratory of Microbiology and Molecular Analysis of the Department of Animal Science of the Agricultural University of Athens for the implementation of the ISO17025 quality protocol.

She has published 19 papers in various well-known refereed journals and participated in 13 international conferences. Also, she has been a member of editorial board for international journals.
