Andreas Papadimitriou holds an MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg School Of Management) and a M.Litt in Economics and International Relations from the University of St. Andrews. He has 22 years of experience in various senior roles in investing, M&A and consulting as well as corporate finance. He has worked in private equity, venture capital and now in the venture debt industry. Since 2016, Andreas is working for the European Investment Bank’s Venture Debt team with a focus on deep tech and digital investments, providing financing for high technology and high growth startups in the EU who have a potential to be world leaders in their field. Over the past 8 years, he has assessed more than 200 companies and has completed more than 20 investments across Europe, effectively deploying more than EUR 400m of investments in the high-tech space.
