Education

PhD in Athletics, National Sports Academy of Sofia, 1988-1991 with a scholarship from the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sport. Thesis title: “Theoretical-methodological bases of selection, learning, planning, and controlling jump height of boys 12 – 15 years old”.

Bachelor’s Degree, School of Physical Education and Sports Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, 1986. Specialization in Sports Jumps.

 

Personal Profile

Lecturer and researcher with 34 years of teaching experience at all three levels of education. Supervisor of 6 processed Doctoral Theses, 25 processed Master’s Theses, and 120 Master’s Theses. He has edited and written Ten (10) sports and scientific books, of which one is on Amazon. He has published over 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Scientifically coordinator in five (5) Sports, and tourism research programs.
