Vassilis Papataxiarhis received his B.Sc. in Informatics from the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) , Greece in 2006 and his M.Sc. in the area of “Advanced Information Systems” from the same Department in 2008. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in the department. He is also a member of the Pervasive Computing Research Group (p-comp) and the Communication Networks Laboratory (CNL) of the NKUA. His research interests are mainly focused on the fields of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Machine Learning, Semantic Web technologies and Autonomic Computing.
