Panagiotopoulos George is Associate Professor at the University of Patras. He served the Prefecture of Ilias as Deputy Mayor and General Secretary. He served as Regional Director of Education of Western Greece and President of the Boards of Directors of public institutions and organizations. Graduate in Political Sciences and Public Administration from the National University of Athens, the Pedagogical Academy of Rhodes and the Marasleio Teaching School of the University of Athens. His postgraduate studies are in Health Care Management and his PhD in the field of human resources education and training. He is a lecturer in the postgraduate programme “Education Sciences” at the Hellenic Open University and a lecturer in the postgraduate programme “Education Management” at the Department of Management Science and Technology of the University of Patras. His scientific work focuses on the management, training, development and lifelong learning of human resources.
