Petros Psomas was born in 1970 and lives in Patras, for two reasons he considers equally important: origin and choice. He teaches Computer Science in Secondary Education. He leads the independent municipal party “spiral” and since 2019 he is elected as a member of the municipal councilor of Patras Municipality.

He has worked as a marketing executive of multinational companies. He has also worked training unemployed people, employees and business executives in several areas of administration (Sales, Marketing, Communication, Human Resources).

He has written four books, three of which are about Patras and its history. He is also an active volunteer in many local projects (Patras Carnival, TEDxPatras, Patras Science Festival etc).

He is married to Eleni Kitsiou and father of a ten-year-old daughter, Elpida.
