Dr Mina Gaga is  President of the Central Health Council and head pulmonologist at Athens Chest Hospital Sotiria. She is a clinician, focusing particularly in asthma  and lung cancer and is also involved in clinical research and in medical education programs.  She has served as Secretary of the European Board of Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP), Secretary General and President of the European Respiratory Society,  Visiting Academic at Brompton Hospital/Imperial College and advisor to the WHO. She is an Executive Committee Member of GARD, principal investigator in multiple clinical trials and active internationally in guideline development for severe asthma, lung cancer screening and quality care.
