Panagiotis Arkoumaneas

President of the BoD, Greek National Public Health. Organization

Panagiotis Arkoumaneas is the President of the Board of Directors of the Greek National Public Health Organization, a member of the National Public Health Council and the representative of Greece to the Health Security Committee (HSC). 

The Belgian-born P. Arkoumaneas has an expertise in marketing and development planning. He is a graduate of the Department of Business Administration and Management of the University of Piraeus, Greece, and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Boston University, USA. His professional background includes a number of high managerial posts in both private and public sector. 

From 2004 to 2006, held the position of the special advisor at the Greek Ministry of Health, being responsible, among others, for the country’s Health Chart and the Public-Private Partnerships in the field of Health. In 2007, he served as the CEO of the Athens Tourism and Economic Development Association and in 2008 he created the Athens Convention Bureau.  In 2011, Mr Arkoumaneas founded -and led until September 2019- an innovative, business consulting company specializing in communication, crisis management and strategy. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece.
