Savvas Papadopoulos is Project Manager at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and Co-coordinator of the EU Youth Hub.He holds a Master’s degree in International Negotiations from the Athens University of Economics and a Bachelor degree in International, European and Regional Studies with a specialization in International Law from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. During his postgraduate studies, he received a scholarship from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Greece and Cyprus, while he authored policy papers focusing on EU negotiations. He has long-term professional experience in the humanitarian field; working in Civil Society Organizations. Currently, he is Project Manager of the project “EUact2-Towards Democratic and Inclusive Europe: EP Elections and Active Citizens Participation and Contribution” at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). EUact2 aims to promote democratic participation among citizens, particularly young people, while examining young people’s attitudes toward the EU and the extent of their political involvement. During the last years, he is co-Coordinator of the youth team, EU Youth Hub of ELIAMEP, focusing on the political participation of young people in the European Union.
