Stathis Stathopoulos is a lawyer-member of Athens Bar Association. He graduated from the Law Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green Fund since October 2019. He has been a special associate of the Ministers of Environment, Spatial Planning and Public Works (2004-2008), Transport and Communications (2008-2009), Development (2009), Development, Competitiveness, Transport, Infrastructure and Networks (2012-2013) and Development and Competitiveness (2013-June 2014 and June-November 2014). He also served as an independent, non-executive member of the BoDs of the companies Attiko Metro Operation Company – A.M.E.L. (now STA.SY.) (2007-2009), D.E.S.M.I.E. (now HEDNO) (2009), Hellenic Post – ELTA (2013-2015), K.E.K. – ELTA (2014-2016), as well as member of the Investment Board of the JEREMIE Initiative (2009).
