Alexandra  Pliakoura is a PhD of the University of Patras with specialization in Agricultural Entrepreneurship and a master’s degree, MBA “FOOD BUSINESS MANAGEMENT” at the DEAPT of the University of Patras. She is also head of the Department of Agricultural Development & Controls of the Ministry of Agricultural Development & Food. At the undergraduate level, she studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the School of Geotechnical Sciences in the Department of Agriculture. She has published several research papers in international scientific journals and has participated in scientific conferences on the sustainable development of Agricultural Enterprises and the promotion of agricultural entrepreneurship in general. Her research interests include: Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Agricultural Business Management, Agricultural & Food Cooperatives Management, Food & Agricultural Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Agricultural Policy.
