Alice Corovessi is the co-founder and the Managing Director of INZEB, a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing research and advocacy in energy, climate and sustainability. Alice possesses a background in Business Administration, Marketing, and Computer Programming and has carved a career path in the Tourism and Real Estate industries before pivoting towards a dedicated focus on energy efficiency and sustainability within the built environment sector. Since 2009, Alice Corovessi has advocated for and implemented strategies to enhance sustainability and resilience in medium—to large-scale projects. In addition to her leadership role at INZEB, Alice contributes her expertise as a project manager and senior expert to several research projects, reflecting her commitment to sustainable energy solutions. Her interests also extend to the social implications of energy use, underscored by her co-authorship of four books addressing energy poverty alleviation.
Her professional excellence was recognised in 2017 when she received the Energy Professional Development Award—Western Europe Region from the Association of Energy Engineers in the USA.
She is fluent in Greek, English, and German, moderately proficient in Serbian, and has a foundational knowledge of Arabic. Currently, she is furthering her academic and professional expertise by pursuing an MBA at the University of Northampton.
