Aristides Panagiotopoulos of Ioannis and Akrivi, was born in 1979. He is a graduate of the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace.
He was elected Mayor of the Municipality of Ancient Olympia in October 2023 and assumed his duties in January 2024.
He has been working professionally as a Lawyer at the Court of First Instance of Ilia since 2007 and the seat of his Law Office is located in Pelopio, Municipality of Ancient Olympia. Moreover, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Ilia Bar Association from 2021 to 2024. He speaks two foreign languages, Italian and English.
He was elected for the first time as a Municipal Councilor in 2011 and served as President of the Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Ancient Olympia from 2011 to 2019.

He founded the first Kindergarten of the Municipality of Ancient Olympia where 30 children are
In 2014, he founded the first Center for Creative Activities of Children (KDAP) for children aged 6-12.
From 2011 to 2019 he was also President of KAPI of Ancient Olympia, President of the International Festival of Ancient Olympia and President of the structure “Help at Home”.
