Christos I. Rumbos is a Post-Doc researcher in the Department of Agriculture, Crop Production and Rural Environment of the University of Thessaly. His main research interests focus on integrated plant protection, post-harvest insect biology and ecology, whereas more recently he has been active on the exploitation of insects as food and feed and particularly on the optimization of mass-rearing of mealworms. He has actively participated as researcher in numerous research projects. He has published more than 90 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and 4 book chapters, whereas he has participated in many international congresses and conferences. He is member of the editorial board of several international journals, such as Journal of Insects as Food and Feed, Heliyon, Journal of Insect Science, Insects, Sustainability.
