Eirini Skouzou
Advocate, Election and Legal Analyst 

Eirini Skouzou was born in Athens. She is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Piraeus Bar Association and an expert on electoral issues.

She embarked on her studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She then completed postgraduate studies in translation and interpretation in Strasbourg. In addition, he studied law in London and holds a master’s degree in history and theory of international Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science in London.

In her professional career, Eirini has been a field election observer and legal analyst in over 30 electoral processes in countries around the world (including Albania, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cambodia, Congo, Gambia, Madagascar, Madagascar, Mauritania, Nigeria, South Sudan, Poland, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, South Sudan, Togo, etc.), contributing to EU and OSCE election observation missions. As an expert, she assesses the legal framework in line with international standards and best practices, offering expert recommendations to strengthen the respect for human rights, equal opportunities, gender equality and the inclusion of vulnerable groups. She has worked as a corporate litigation lawyer in Limassol and in Athens since 2013 and is an accredited mediator in civil and commercial cases in both Greece and Cyprus.

Eirini has built strong partnerships with national and international institutions, organisations and diplomatic missions, as well as with civil society. As a member of professional organisations, she actively participates in seminars and conferences. Greek is her mother tongue, and she is fluent in English and French at a high professional level while she also has a basic command of Spanish and German.

Eirini is an MEP candidate with the political party KOSMOS in the forthcoming elections.
