Fabrizio Luciolli
President, Italian Atlantic Committee, Special Adviser, Italian Parliament for the Delegation to the Nato Parliamentary Assembly 

 

Fabrizio Luciolli is President of the Italian Atlantic Committee, an NGO operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dedicated to analyzing foreign policy, security, and defense issues related to NATO and Italy. Served as Secretary General from 1994 to 2014, overseeing training programs and information activities. Consultant from 1988 to 1994.

He is former President of the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) from 2014 to 2020, an international organization coordinating public diplomacy activities among national Atlantic Committees of 37 NATO and partner countries. Currently he is serving as a Senior Fellow at the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence. Additionally, holds the position of President of Eurodefense Italy, the national branch of a European network focused on security and defense analysis.

As a Professor of International Security Organisation, Military Policy, and National Security Policy at the Centre for High Defense Studies (CASD) of the Italian Ministry of Defense (2000-2015), conducted lectures on foreign affairs and security at various national and international military and academic institutions. He directed International Security Organisation Courses (ISOC) at National Defense Colleges and military Academies in several Balkan countries. Dr. Luciolli co-Directed Terrorism Counteraction Courses in Italy, the Balkans, and the Middle East. Dr Luciolli coordinated also training courses for military officers and civilian officials of the ministries of Defense and Interior of Iraq (Baghdad 2007, 2008; Rome 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2013). Directed and coordinated numerous NATO and EU training and cooperation programs. He is political Consultant on foreign affairs and security issues, advising the Italian Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and Italian companies on international and institutional relations. He is also member of the Strategic Advisors Group of the Atlantic Council of the United States and the Scientific Board of the Institute for Global Studies. Author of over 200 papers and articles published in Italian and foreign journals. Co-editor of the NATO Summit publication in 2018. Additionally, Dr. Luciolli is former Editorial Coordinator of the quarterly magazine Occidente and Consultant on Criminology & Forensic Psychiatry related to counterterrorism. Previously served as President of the Italian Association of Young Political Leaders.
