Georgia Datsika

Deputy Governor of Social Policy and Family, Region of Western Greece

I was born in Achaia in 1965, I graduated from Erymanthia High School in 1985 and from the Police School in 1991.

I am a mother of 3 children

In 1991 I enlisted in the Corps of GREECE where I served until 1/1/2024 with the rank of Police Officer, from where I retired.

In 2001 I was elected a member of the Police Union of Achaia and also a Representative in the Panhellenic Federation of Police Employees.

In 2002, in the Prefectural Elections, I was elected the 1st Prefectural Councilor of Achaia with 10,000 crosses, with the faction of Kou Vassiliou Bekiris.

In 2009, I participated in the National Parliamentary elections with the LAOS party, where I took 2nd place – 1st runner-up position as an MP for Achaia.

In 2010-2014 I was elected Regional Councilor of Western Greece, as Head of the Faction

“Hope for the West Hellas “.

In 2010-2012 I served as a substitute employee at the Hellenic Parliament.

In the Regional elections on 8/10/2023, he was elected in 2nd place as Regional Councilor in the PE of Achaia. On 5/1/2024 I was appointed by the Decision of the Regional Governor of Western Greece, Nektarios Farmakis, Deputy Regional Governor for Social Policy and Family.

I speak English, have computer skills and actively participate in various cultural clubs of Achaia.
