Georgios Kechagias
Professor, Department of Food Science & Technology, University of Patras

George Kehayias. He studied Biology in the University of Patras, from where he received his PhD Diploma, He is serving as a Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology, in which he was the first President. He has multiannual research experience in the field of aquatic ecosystems and ecology. He supervised four PhD theses, eight master theses, and has published more than 60 scientific articles gaining considerable international recognition. He has participated as the leader or/and researcher in numerous financed scientific projects, he was reviewer in 25 scientific journals and referee of scientific projects in various national scientific projects.
