Katerina Sklavounou is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Patras, specifically within the Department of Agriculture. She is an active member of the Laboratory of Chemistry of the Aquatic Environment. Her research focuses on the exploration of nanostructured organic and inorganic polymers and their application as adsorbents for pesticides in water environments. She is skilled in spectrophotometric and chromatographic techniques, including ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrophotometry and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
Additionally, she has experience in assessing water quality parameters such as hardness, nitrogen compounds, ammonia/ammonium, phosphates, lead, and zinc.
