Konstantina Kouvara is a PhD candidate at the University of Patras. She conducts research on marine litter pollution, one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time. She holds a Master of Science in Oceanography and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same university, where she developed a strong foundation in the scientific study of the oceans and the life they harbor. Her core competencies include data analysis, scientific communication, and project management. She has published papers in international journals, presenting novel findings on the sources, distribution, and impacts of anthropogenic litter on marine ecosystems. Her passion is to understand the complex interactions between human activities and the marine environment, and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the development of solutions for the challenges facing our oceans and our planet.
