Milena Apostolakis was born in Athens and has a 19 year old son. She graduated from the Law School of Athens University and then worked as a lawyer and specialized in international conventions and aviation law in one of the largest law firms in Washington DC. She was elected member of parliament for the Socialist Greek Party (PASOK) in the electoral constituency of Athens in 2000, 2004, 2007, 2009 and in the recent elections of 2023.
From April 2000 until October 2001 she performed the task of Deputy Minister of Development. From September 2010 until June 2011 she acted as Deputy Minister οf Rural Development and Food. In 2012 she took the initiative along with other distinguished legal representatives and established a company of Family Law, the first scientific union that deals with issues of Family Law in Greece. From November 2021 until June of 2023 she was Director of Athens Mediation & Arbitration Organization (EODID). She has published two books while many of her articles have been published in both physical and online print. She is currently Head of Justice for PASOK (Socialist Greek Party).
