Paraskevi Souliou is an undergraduate student at the University of Patras, School of Agricultural Sciences at the Department of Agriculture. She is a member of the Laboratory of Chemistry of the Aquatic Environment. Her research interests include the study of nanostructured organic and inorganic polymers and their use as adsorbents of pesticides in the water matrices. She has experience in the spectrophotometric and chromatographic techniques, such as ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrophotometry and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), as well as in the determination of water quality characteristics, such as hardness, nitrogen, ammonia/ammonium, phosphates, lead and zinc.
