Vassilios Triantafyllidis, Assistant Professor, currently works at the Department of Food Science & Technology at the University of Patras, he has more than 20 years’ experience with pest management and the ecological impact of agrochemicals in the environment. His research interests concern the sustainable management of soil and water resources, the conservation and management of plant species and the precision agriculture. Education background: PhD Thesis in agri-environmental pollution, 2006, Department of Environmental Management and Natural Resources, Agrinio, University of Ioannina. DEA in Agronomy Science, 1998, Institute National Polytechnique de Lorraine, France. Graduate studies in soil and environment, 1997-1998, ENSAIA, Nancy, France. BSc. in crop production, 1996, Arta, University of Ioannina. Work experience: Agronomist, Visiting Lecturer, in Faculties of Agricultural Technology, Technological Educational Institute of Missolonghi and Epirus and in University of Ioannina (1999-2016). Laboratory-Teaching Staff in university of Patras (2016-2021). He has participated in more than 10 research projects.
