Alice Corovessi brings a diverse academic and professional background in Business Administration, Marketing, and Computer Programming, having initially built her career in the tourism and real estate sectors before shifting her focus to energy efficiency and sustainability within the built environment. Since 2009, she has been a dedicated advocate for sustainability and resilience, actively engaging in designing and implementing strategies across medium- to large-scale projects. She is the co-founder and managing director of INZEB, a non-profit organisation promoting energy transition, sustainability, and climate resilience. Through INZEB, she leads initiatives such as the Renovate Europe Campaign, the European Alliance to Save Energy, and the Coalition for Energy Savings in Greece, ensuring their objectives are effectively designed, managed, and communicated. In addition, since 2023, she has been the Country Coordinator for Greece for the EU Climate Pact. Alice is also a seasoned project manager and senior expert in multiple EU-funded research projects, with her work often addressing the social dimensions of energy use, as evidenced by her co-authorship of four books on energy poverty. In 2017, the Association of Energy Engineers (USA) honoured her professional excellence with the Energy Professional Development Award for the Western Europe Region. Her appointment as Vice-Chair of the Renovate Europe Campaign for 2022 and 2023 further reflects her influence and commitment in the sector. Alice is also a member of the Environment and Energy Cluster of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). She speaks Greek, English, and conversational Serbian and German, with basic knowledge of Arabic, and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Northampton to deepen her academic and professional expertise.
