Christos Dorziotis
Executive Director, OLYGREEN
Christos Dorziotis is a tourism professional with deep roots in the industry, shaped by both academic training and extensive hands-on experience. He brings over 30 years of expertise spanning hotel management, academic engagement, and strategic tourism development. His academic journey began in Athens, where he studied Tourism Management at the Technological Educational Institute, and later continued in the UK with postgraduate studies in Tourism Marketing at the University of Surrey.
Born and raised in the heart of Greece, he has naturally evolved within the hospitality industry, carrying a deep sense of responsibility to elevate its values with integrity and care. His journey includes key managerial roles, such as serving as Hotel Manager in Olympia from 2001 to 2006, during the transformative years around the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. Alongside his hands-on experience, he spent nearly a decade teaching strategic marketing at the Technological Institute of Patras and contributed actively to municipal tourism development efforts in Ancient Olympia.
Currently serving as Executive Director of OLYGREEN, Christos leads a dynamic initiative that delivers 360° sustainable tourism services, integrating local identity, environmental consciousness, and holistic guest experiences. His work reflects a forward-thinking approach to tourism strategy—where innovation is balanced with authenticity and long-term impact.
Guided by a deep sense of curiosity and an enduring passion for meaningful human connection, Christos approaches the tourism sector with an open heart, a personal touch, and a strong belief in the values of Greek filoxenia. His human-centered philosophy emphasizes listening, empathy, and storytelling as key tools for designing euphoric travel experiences that resonate emotionally with the visitor.
For Christos, the most relevant trend in modern tourism is perhaps the most timeless one: the return to what truly matters—touching the soul of the traveler. By highlighting local culture, authentic encounters, and emotional resonance, he seeks to foster tourism that not only satisfies but inspires, nurtures, and connects.
