Christos Michalakelis, PhD is a Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telematics of Harokopio University, with a field of expertise in the area of Technology Management. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Harokopio University and Director of the Postgraduate Program “Applied Informatics” (https://applied.dit.hua.gr/), a program for redirecting studies in informatics for scientists who do not have a relevant cognitive background. 

He has participated in many research and development projects and has published numerous scientific papers in international journals and conferences. He has worked at the Ministry of Education as head of the informatics department. He is President of the Board of Directors of “Study in Greece” (http://www.studyingreece.edu.gr/), having the role of the national body of Greece, for supporting the internationalization of Greek Universities, in which all Greek Universities participate, with the aim of establishing Greece as an international hub for education and research.
