Ilias Palialexis is a journalist specializing in reporting on the environment and climate change. He works at the Athens-Macedonian News Agency. He has experience as a freelancer in various online media, in a series of conferences, but also in press offices of organizations. He holds a degree BSc Sociology and Media from City University London. He received a scholarship from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation for further training at the Columbia Journalism School in New York. Palialexis has been recognized for his contribution to environmental journalism, receiving the Environmental Awareness Award from Ecocity and is also active in the Mediterranean environmental journalism community.
