He is a Partner at Metavallon, a venture capital firm managing two funds with  over €70 million in assets under management. Metavallon focuses on financing early-stage  companies operating at the forefront of technological innovation. The firm is backed by the  EquiFund Venture Capital Fund—established by the Hellenic Republic and the European  Investment Fund—the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments, and prominent  institutional and private investors. 

George holds a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Athens, an MSc in  Geophysics from the University of Leeds, and an MBA from ALBA. His career spans business  consultancy, where he helped Greek SMEs secure funding through national and EU  instruments, and senior executive roles in leading Greek ICT companies. His experience ranges  from startups to firms listed on the Athens Stock Exchange (Pouliadis & Co.) and global  markets like AIM and Nasdaq (Velti).  In 2012, George led a successful management buy-out, co-founding Motivian Group, a trusted  provider of integrated IT solutions for banks, telecoms, and government entities across  Southeast Europe.
