Katerina Sourouni

National Technology Officer at Microsoft Greece, Cyprus, & Malta

She has 20 years of experience in the ICT sector. In her role, she is responsible for the Tech & Innovation Strategy for the country across both the public and private sectors. She focuses on developing digital transformation strategies for organizations across the three countries, working with leaders in business and government to integrate AI, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

Katerina holds a Diploma of Electrical Computer Engineering of NTUA and a Bachelor Degree in Management Science & Technology of AUEB along with a  PhD in e-Government Knowledge Management Systems. This background providing her with unique insights into the intersection of technology and both business & public administration. Her extensive experience encompasses project management, solution design, and technology leadership. During her 8+ years at Microsoft, Katerina has led initiatives aimed at helping organizations adopt advanced Microsoft technologies to drive business outcomes. She holds multiple certifications in AI and cloud technologies and is dedicated to fostering collaboration between enterprises, regulators, and government to support technological progress for both business and society.
