Kosmas Marinakis is a Senior Lecturer of Economics at Singapore Management University and the founder of the popular economics education channel “Greekonomics”, which currently has over 350,000 subscribers.

He has worked as a Researcher and Assistant Professor of Economics at North Carolina State University, Wake Forest University in the USA, the University of Cyprus, and the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.

He graduated from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) in 2002 and holds a PhD from North Carolina State University. His research focuses on Industrial Organization, Contract Theory, and the Economics of Education.
