Kostas Ifantis (Konstantinos Yfantis) is Professor of International Relations,Department of International and European Studies, Panteion University of Athens. He is also the Director of the Institute of International Relations (www.idis.gr). He served as an Associate Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens until 2015 Among other he was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, a Senior Research Fellow at the LSE, and a Visiting Professor at the University of Seoul. In 2012-2020 he tought at Kadir Has University, Istanbul. His most recent publication is “Arms Racing, Military Build-Ups and Dispute Intensity: Evidence from the Greek-Turkish Rivalry, 1985-2020” (with I.Choulis and M. Mehrl) in Defence and Peace Economics, 2023.
