Lefki Georgiou is a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager at Dardanel Greece S.A. | Kallimanis S.A., where she oversees the implementation of food safety and quality systems such as IFS Food V8, ISO 9001:2015, ASC, and MSC. A graduate of the University of West Attica with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Inspection – Hygienist, she brings strong academic and practical expertise to her role. Her recent work focuses on improving key performance indicators, reducing non-conformities, and guiding strategic initiatives to reduce costs and enhance sustainability. She plays an active role in environmental management and health and safety programs and holds advanced certifications in Food Defense and Food Safety Culture. She is also an approved Food Training instructor. With over 15 years of industry experience as a Quality and Food Safety Manager in food companies operating in both Greece and Cyprus, she has a hands-on, systems-based approach to food safety leadership and compliance. Finally, she is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Hellenic Association of Frozen Food Businesses (HFCB).
