Lefteris-Foivos Vasilopoulos ran as a candidate for the European elections 2024 in France with the party Volt France, while studying through the Erasmus+ program in Toulouse. After spending a year as an Erasmus student in France, he returned to Athens to complete his bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies at the University of Piraeus. He is also the Coordinator of the initiative Intervention 2030, which aims to become a network of young citizens that want to discover new ways of civic engagement at the local, national and European level. Soon, he will publish his first book, titled Erasmus Citizen (Papazisis Publications), in which he describes his experience during the European elections campaign and the Erasmus studies in France.
