Maria was born and lives in Patras, Greece. Since 2000, she has been professionally active as an event manager, production designer and art director. Her main focus lies in the design and organization of events, performances, and cultural activities, including corporate events, conferences, digital and hybrid online productions. Her work encompasses spatial and scenographic design, as well as communication planning and promotional strategies.She is also involved in theatrical, television, and film productions, specializing in scenography and production coordination. 

She is currently pursuing a master degree in “Cultural Management and Folklore Studies” at the Faculty of Philology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in “Studies in Greek Culture” from the School of Humanities of the Hellenic Open University. Her educational background includes training in visual and plastic arts, sculpture, graphic design, photography, directing, and scenography (Athens Laboratory of Scenography), along with professional development in event planning, management, marketing, communication, and public relations.

She has long-standing collaborations with event and conference planning companies, assuming executive roles in both organizational and creative capacities. In parallel, she works with TV channels, theater companies, audiovisual production firms, cultural venues, advertising agencies, media groups, publishing houses, and institutions both in Patras and beyond. She is also actively engaged in civic and cultural affairs, having held key positions in associations and organizations focused on culture and social contribution.

Her interests and academic pursuits continue to evolve around issues of contemporary folk culture, tradition, and cultural management, with a focus on designing cultural institutions, experiences planning, promoting cultural tourism, city branding, and cultural marketing.
