Maria Theofanopoulou is the CEO and Owner of GTP – DANAE Travel & Media Group, a leading organization active in the fields of tourism, media, publishing, and airline representation since the 1970s. Under her leadership, the group manages award-winning brands such as Greek Travel Pages and GTP Headlines, and provides specialized tourism data, digital marketing solutions, consulting services for the travel sector, and support in strategic development.

An influential figure in Greece’s tourism sector, Maria serves as President of the Hellenic Association of Airline Representatives (SAAE) and is a Board Member of SETE and INSETE, having also served on the boards of various European (such as ECTAA) and Greek tourism associations and organizations.

She holds a BSc in Business Administration and an MSc in Marketing, along with further studies in Managerial Finance at LSE and Negotiations at Harvard Law School.

She is committed to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic development in the tourism sector.
