Sofia Filippidi

Sophia Filippidi, PhD, Athens University of Economics & Business, President, Corinthian Hotel Association

Sofia Filippidi holds a PhD in Organizational Change from the Department of Management Science & Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She has also completed her Master Degree in Operational Research at the University of Edinburgh, while she is holding a degree in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has gained significant experience in the implementation of research and consulting projects. Some of the most relevant European projects that she participated as a senior analyst is «Analyzing and Evaluation the Impact on Innovation of Publicly- Funded Research Programmes- LOT1/ LOT2», HyPro4ST “Sustainable Tourism Innovation Through Hybrid Project Management (HyPro4ST)”, EDUCREAT- Erasmus+. Today, her business activity is focused on the field of Tourism in the region of Corinth and the last ten years she is the Manager of Hotel Theoxenia in Loutraki. Also, for the last seven years she is the President of the Corinthian Hotels Association (CHO) representing almost 80 SMEs in the region of Corinthia, the Vice President of the Tourist Organization of Loutraki and the Second Vice President of the Tourist Organization of Peloponnese
