Dimitrios Michalopoulos is the Head of Quality and E-Government of Regional Development Fund on Western Greece and member of Enterpreneurship & Digital Innovation Laboratory of University of Patras.He holds a Bachelor degree in “Software Engineering” from Essex University and a masters degree in “Data Communications Networks and Distributed Systems” from UCL.
He has been working in the section of IT and management for the last 20 years.After his Masters degree he worked in London on GPS navigation and autonomous tracking systems.
His interests include Mobile Systems, Human Resource Management Systems and Neural Networks.Throughout his career, Dimitrios had the opportunity to work with the leaders of cutting edge telecommunication techology,
such as ATMEL, Nokia, Ericsson, Autotrac, Intracom, and held positions on IT divisions.Lately he is conducting his research on public sector systems using neural network algorithms and is being engaged on large scale projects
for the promotion of the innovation ecosystem and the support of entrepreneurship in Region of Western Greece.
