The Special Secretary George Zervos is a Political Scientist, a graduate of the University of Athens (EKPA) – Law School – Department of Political Science and Public Administration, and holds a master’s degree (Program in Sustainable Development Strategies in Local Government) from the EKPA. 

He has worked in the private and public sector and is an executive of the Development Programs Management Organization Unit (MOD SA) since 2002. In his professional activity, he has been Head of Managing Authority for 11 years (in the Ministries of Labor, Health and Development & Investments) and Head of the Greek Delegation to the European Social Fund Committee (ESF Committee). 

He has conducted numerous researches and studies focusing on issues of human resources development, social cohesion, has published articles in scientific journals and collective volumes, has been a speaker at conferences in Greece and abroad and has participated in numerous research and consulting programs.
